Biography [edit]
Fuentes was born in Havana, Cuba, Cuban father and mother Spain. [1] when Fuentes was three years old, his family fled the island due to political turmoil and moved to Madrid, Spain. Shortly thereafter he moved with his family to Harrison, New Jersey, where heattended Harrison high school, was elected Queen of homecoming and "best looking", and graduated class of ' 84. First she was hired in 1988 to host MTVInternacional, Spain language music performancesone hour that aired in Latin America and the United States on the Telemundo network. Later,Fuentes joined MTV in 1993, becoming the firstLatina MTV VJ. He is also a number of fashion and modeling series, House of Style, among otherperformances of the correspondent. With MTV he achieved name recognition as one of the more popular network hosts and soon approached bythe company to be a spokesman. [5] [6] he thenlanded a role in the ABC soap opera Loving.Fuentes appeared on shows like dream on, TheLarry Sanders Show, and Cybill. From 1994 to 1995, he became the host of his own talk, Daisy,on CNBC. He is the co-host of America's funnyhome videos, along with John Fugelsang, from 1998 to 1999. She hosted the ALMA Awards, DickClark's New year's Rockin ' Eve, the 1998 WorldMusic Awards, the 1999 Billboard Latin Awards,and the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA pageant. Heguest starred in the TV series Queen of swordsepisode "Running Wild" in 2000. Also in 2000, she starred opposite Steve Borden (professional wrestler sting ') in the TV movie madeShutterspeed.
Daisy Fuentes has appeared on magazine coversand has starred in nationally televisedcommercials for Revlon, American Express,Pantene, M & M's and others. He is the first mind, body, spirit of the Superstar, which was created to generate awareness of the causes of women'shealth and employment to promote change.
